Lueneburg, Germany, May 11, 2009 - At their Indian production site in Bengaluru (formerly Bangalore)
AstraZeneca has introduced PAS-X Weighing & Dispensing.
The high-availability system manages the central weighing and dispensing operations and creates electronic
weighing reports. It brings about significant improvements in performance and an enhancement of the right-first-time
factor.
The solution is based on standardized business processes and is intended to be rolled out to more sites in the
Asia-Pacific region.
